Extra page in report
GeorgeMar 24.06.2006 03:20:01
I have a report with a subreport. Under certain conditions I want to put a
label vertically over a part of the subreport to highlight it. The only way
I have been able to do it is to place the label control on the main report
and make it visible when the condition is true. I also adjust the height of
the control according to the number of records in the subreport.

Everything works fine except for the fact that an extra page gets printed
showing the header. It only happens when the label control is visible, no
matter how little the number of records in the subreport.

I have checked the report width. I have also reduced eveything to the bare
minimum in the Detail section and there is no footer.

Any ideas? or is there an easier way to superimpose text over a subreport?

many thanks
george

Not sure if this would help, but instead of superimposing text to highlight
the subreport, have you tried using conditional formatting to highlight the
field?
