database password
Lori 03.06.2006 13:14:02
We have a database with a password assigned to it in order to open it. Is
there a way to open the database without the password? (The person
maintaining it left the job and no one has the password). This isn't user
level security (with a login and password) - just a general password where
the prompt comes up upon trying to open the db.

Thanks for any help!

Don't know what version of Access you have but check Michael Kaplan's great
website at http://www.trigeminal.com

and specifically this code:

http://www.trigeminal.com/code/DatabasePassword.bas
