Stored Procedures Object

Access 2003

I do not have a Stored Procedures object group on my database list. Instead
all of the Stored Procedures are listed in the Queries Objects list.

A couple of books I have read store a separate Object for Stored
Procedures. Did that change with 2003?

Thanks, Mike.

As I remember it, Access 2000 had something separate for SPs, but in 2002
and 2003, they're all lumped together under Queries to be more like Access
MDB files.

If you really want to see them as SPs, your best bet is probably just to use
the SQL Enterprise Manager and go from there.

depends on what you mean by object. The object model of Access does have
collection "allstoredprocedures", and another collection "allviews". In the
GUI, they all are on one page "queries" - but that's just the matter of
design.

Not really. I wanted to make sure I had not messed up something in my
configuration when installing 2003 (I did have other issues, like macro
security missing). Clicking on an sp icon takes you to EM anyway or one can
always use QA.

My thanks to all who responded. At least my setup is not tanked.

Mike.
