Disable Just-In-Time Debugging
Sandy M 07.06.2006 18:54:30
We have a 3rd party software which uses Outlook contacts to allow users
to create a new request in Workflow software.

One of the users (and only one), when he tries to create a new request, gets
a Just-In-Time Debugging window that says "An exception 'Runtime Error' has
occurred in Script. Possible Debuggers: "New Instance of Microsoft Script
Editor". Do you want to debug using the selected debugger?

The 3rd party software company told me to uninstall Visual Studio, but I
cannot
find it on this computer to uninstall it.

Can you tell me how I might be able to resolve this?

Thanks,

Sandy

open registry key:
HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows Script/Settings/JITDebug
The REG_DWORD type value must be set to "0" for disable debug.
