Cross-Reference Debra Ann 07.06.2006 14:15:02 I have a user who is trying to cross-reference table and figure captions that exist in a template I created. The user created a bunch of tables in the main portion of the document and in the appendix portion of the document. The following captions exist: Table (already exists with Microsoft) Table_Appendix (created) Figure (already exists with Microsoft) Figure_Appendix (created) When I open the document on my system, I see all of these listed in the popup box for Insert > Reference > Cross-Reference. However, when I look at the same document on his system, I only see the microsoft captions. Any guesses? -- Debra Ann

They are actually Word files (.doc) with embedded macros ... not templates (.dot). Once they have used this button to create the caption for the table, they later use the cross-reference to reference the caption number.
