Extracting Picture files to insert in forms
Jim <joconnor[ at ]NOSPAMaspsm.net> 06.06.2006 17:42:58
Hello,

I have a form that will need images extracted from documents to be inserted
into the form each runtime, changing as different documents are opened.

Unfortunately, the images are part of the document, and I can not find a
way to refer to an image within a document when trying to insert a picture
into the form.

Looking at other similar entries in this newsgroup, I saved the document as
html/web page and found the images as image1.gif, image2.gif etc - this
could work but would require opening the source document, then converting
to html, then inserting the images - seems wasteful.

Is there any way to get at the images directly in the original document.

The source document is .rtf file, I am using word 2003, win xp.

Once I can get to the image, I am good from there.

Thanks,

Jim
