word 2007: german post-reform-rules

Hi experts!
I have a problem with word 2007 and spelling.
I have installed the english version updating my office 2003 pro with
ptoofing tools to office 2007 beta2.
I want to use the german-post-reform-rules which I have chosen in the
word-options - proofing dialogue.

I am sorry but this does not work. Word still suggests the pre-reform rules
and marks my post-reform-writing as failure.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Thanks in adcance (and pardon my English)!

Greetings from Austria

Helmut

Hi Helmut,
Unfortunately, you have come across a current issue with upgrades of English
Office 2003 versions to a German Office2007 version via "proofing tools". We
are currently in the process of repairing the upgrade process such that it
will function as you expect it to.
In the mean time, may I suggest that you try to install the German version
of Office2007 which is available for download on:

http://www.microsoft.com/germany/office/2007/beta/betaversion-bestellen.mspx

If the download time due to the large program size is prohibitive, you may
also order a DVD which would incur some fees for shipping and handling. Also,
please know that the current issue of the C't magazine includes a free copy
of the German Office2007 Beta2 version. I assume that this popular German
computer magazine is also sold in Austria, my apologies, if I am mistaken. (I
was actually born in Vienna, Austria, but that was long before computer
magazines :-) ).

With personal greetings to my former home country ... Andrea :-)

1. Be sure W2007 is not open.
2. In C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF rename MSSP3GEA.
LEX to e.g. OLD_MSSP3GEA.LEX (or delete it.... but one never knows :-)
3. Make a copy of MSSP3GEP.LEX in the same folder and rename it to MSSP3GEA.
LEX. Done.

It's a bug in W2007 Beta2.
Good luck
