I noticed that you can export an Access database to XML, but is there anyway
you can run it from a macro or a script. I want to automate the process on
a nightly basis.

thanx

I assume access 2003?

Check out the

application.ExportXML acExportTable

While in the code editor, go help...and type in

ExprotXML

You will find information on the ExprotXML feature....

But keep in mind that exportXML will only export one table from the
database. You will have to repeat export on all the tables in that database.
And moreover each export of tables will be saved in separate xml files.
