List Tables and Fields?
CLR 07.06.2006 15:03:03
Hi All..........
I'm relatively new to MSQuery. I have just been assigned reporting
responsibilities on a new database that has about 1000 tables, and who knows
how many fields. The Table names are all in abbreviations that are sometimes
undecernable to the uninitiated. I would like to be able to see the list of
Tables and their respective Fields, without "looking through a straw". Does
someone know of a way to get a printout, or a transfer to Excel of all the
Tables and each's Fields? This will go a long way towards helping me get my
arms around this situation. Any help would be much appreciated.

TIA
Vaya con Dios,
Chuck, CABGx3

Hi All.........
I got this post in another forum which pointed the way and helped me solve
the problem........only difference is, I used MSQuery to do the same thing
as I find it friendlier to use than Crystal.

datatypes and lengths.

Only difference is, I used MSQuery to do the same thing as I find it
friendlier to use than Crystal. I was able to get the exact listing of
Tables down column A and Fields down column B that I was looking for.
