Can Access utilize Active directory user accounts for Access DB lo

Can Access use existing active directory user accounts for logon to an Access
database? And can they be used to set permissions on fields and records?

You can map active directory users to access users. If
you want to do this often, you can create a script to
add the new user to an Access workgroup database.

You can create a shortcut to login to Access using
the network login, and you can add code to your application
to check that the network login is the same as the
Access login.

Not the same as actually using the active directory
account: Access still actually uses it's own accounts.
