permission error "polnor" <polnor1[ at ]gmail.com> 23.02.2006 10:13:51 Dear all, I have read numerous previous posts, although the error message is identical I haven't really found the solution to this: I want to develop an Access application and make data available with the DAP in an XL alike format. So far so good. The mdb and the htm are stored on the intranet server, accessible by all, but anyone outside the ones who can publish have an error msg saying 'the database is opened by another user, or you need permissions to vieuw this data'. I don't really want to have to manage folder access in order to let people view the information, is there any other way to solve that problem? Thanks, Paul
