SQL Server Error 11004
Trauton 09.11.2005 01:05:07
Hi,

I have an Access FE connecting to a SQL server. A couple of my users are
getting the following error message and they are not able to connect (they
are both connecting from home via broadband):

---------------------------
Microsoft SQL Server Login
---------------------------
Connection failed:
SQLState: 'S1000'
SQL Server Error: 11004
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Cannot generate SSPI context

---------------------------

I'll appreciate any suggestions please,

Trauton

You can find the message for any SQL Server error message by doing an
index search in SQL Server Books Online. In this case it's a login
error. If the server allows it, give them SQL logins, not Windows
logins. You should write code to delete all of the links and re-create
them each time someone logs in.
