Are you trying to link Access Tables to the Oracle database or Oracle Tables to an Access database?
If the later and since the Linked Tables normally use the DSN (ODBC) you need to check the DSN for correct server name, datasource name, client network interface, username / paswword. mode of authentication. In the DSN set-up interface, you have a button to test the DSN set-up to see if comms with the DSN is succesful or not.
If the earlier case, i.e. linking Access Tables to Oracle server / database, I got no idea as I don't use Oracle. You should post to an Oracle newsgroup in this case as the Oracle people would be more familiar with this process.
