Keyboard Focus
"David" <davids78757[ at ]sbcglobal.net> 28.01.2006 03:38:03
Hello,

I have trouble locating the keyboard focus because the tiny little dots are
difficult to see.

Is there a way to make the bold or solid?

Thank you.
David

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if your insertion point (cursor)
has shrunk, try switching to 500% Zoom and back.

Hi Suzanne,

I am talking about the ......... tiny little dots that form a rectangle
around the link that indicates your keyboard is focused on this item. If
you press "enter" on the keyboard, you will follow the link (or button).

My cursor is fine.

Thank you.
David

I have never seen anything such as you describe in Word. If you select a
text box or frame, you'll get a hashed border, but I've never seen any sort
of dotted-line borders except when text boundaries are displayed (Tools |
Options | View), and these don't indicate where the cursor is.

Hi Suzanne,

You are correct. That was my mistake. I should have posted this question
in an IE forum. It's in IE that the focus is difficult to see.

Thank you.
David

I was hoping you were talking about something other than Word, as I was
pretty sure this was not something I recognized!
